چکیده
Background/Aim. Pregnancy-induced red blood cell (RBC) alloimmunization is important not only because of the possible negative effects on subsequent pregnancy outcomes in case fetus carries antigen but also optimal trans-fusion management cases obstetric hemorrhage. Timely detection RBC antibodies part testing, prevention, and treatment strategy, aimed at achieving better for alloimmunized mothers with an affected fetus. The aim study was to determine frequency specificity alloantibodies among pregnant women from South Backa District, Serbia, special attention incidence anti-D alloantibodies. Methods. A retrospective conducted Blood Transfusion Institute Vojvodina covered period January 1, 2010, December 31, 2019. Screening antibody identification were performed by indirect antiglobulin test gel-microcards (ID-Card Liss/Coombs) two (ID-DiaCell I-II screening cells, Bio-Rad, Cressier, Switzerland) automated system (IH-500, Bio-Rad). Results. Among 25,694 tested women, 1.38% actively immunized, while 1.12% acquired current pregnancy. 3,622 (14.09%) RhD-negative 1.77% produced during ongoing Distribution anti-body was: 23.34%, anti-M 11.85%, anti-E 9.41%, anti-K anti-C 5.92%, anti-Fyb anti-c 3.13%, anti-S anti-Lea anti-Leb anti-Cw 1.75%, anti-Jka 1.40%, anti-P 1.05%, anti-Lub 0.70%, anti-Fya 0.35%, autoantibody undetermined irregular 15.68%. Conclusion. Immunoglobulin prophylaxis has led a significant reduction D-alloimmunization District over last ten years. However, still significantly higher than published data developed countries. We identified other, less commonly present, clinically antibodies. There need introduce uniform recommendations immunohematological testing territory Republic Serbia accordance modern requirements.

Responder individuality in red blood cell alloimmunization.
Many different factors influence the propensity of transfusion recipients and pregnant women to form red blood cell alloantibodies (RBCA). RBCA may cause hemolytic transfusion reactions, hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn and may be a complication in transplantation medicine. Antigenic differences between responder and foreign erythrocytes may lead to such an immune answer, in part with...
